Born from Cullman grit

A tornado, a forgotten recipe, and a community that knew how to rebuild.

Goat Island grew from the friendships formed after the 2011 tornado. Along the way, a historic Cullman beer recipe became Richter’s Pilsner—and a hometown brewery became a gathering place.
